The EdT is the OG. It is the edgy one, presents more evolution and has great longevity and projection alone. The EdP is the toned down guy with smoothed edges. It isn't as unique, edgy, and takes a smooth, sweet woods approach. It lacks the oomph that the EdT has, though longevity is slightly better. I say go with the EdT.

My thoughts on Hermes H24 EDT and EDP
For longevity, I got about 6 to 7 hours for the EdT and EdP while Herbes Vives was about 4 to 5 hours. Projection for all three was about arm's length for an hour or two. The Sauvage EDT is a cheaper cult classic than the EDP—I find it bright, fresh, easy to wear and I always garner lots of compliments when I wear it. As for the Sauvage EDP, it combines EDT’s familiar fragrance DNA with darker, woodier, resinous notes. Reformulation is real. The EDT is weak and disappear from the paper strip in 5 minutes. Not worth buying. However, Hermes produces top notched high-end sub-niche fragrances. I'm wearing the EdT today because it's warming up here. I would go for the Parfum if you can only buy one, because to me it's a much higher quality product. But if you're in warm weather, the Eau Tres Fraice or EdT are the way to go. I actually like the Eau Tres Fraiche better than the EdT. Lasts just as long .

Some are referring to TdH parfum as ‘the EDP’ when in fact it is a parfum. Some are correctly identifying an EDP but.it is TdH Eau Intense Vetiver EDP. I get excellent performance from TdH Parfum - but - it wears somewhat close to the skin after the opening fades. And that makes sense. It's a parfum, not an EDT. An EDT would give more projection, but less longevity. An EDP concentration is heavier and tends to wear closer but last longer. I easily get 8 hours from TdH Parfum. Sometimes more.
It's also not much better than the EDT version, so don't use that as the basis for deciding between the EDP or EDT. I'd say the EDP is a bit woodier and the citrus juicier overall, but sampling is the best way to decide. My personal preference is for the EDT.
