The box, the paperwork, the bag, the CPM-20CV font and the handle texture pattern all don't look right. Very likely to be a fake. Since you have bought it locally, return it if you can.
I've been searching for 1 particular fake that i ran across at a local shop. I found a pic online once before but ain't having any luck finding it tonight. It had a legit number on the blade (470 or 485) but didn't resemble any real Benchmade. The top and bottom bags came with my 2 Claymores I purchased from an authorized Benchmade dealer. The middle bag came with the pictured knife I purchased off eBay. Thoughts?
