Canvas splitting from a stitch on the flap joint. All after 2 months of use. Some Iffy stitching and glazing splotches on the canvas too. It was Made in France. I think that bag was made on Friday and the quality controller was off sick .

I have two Mulberrys, a Roxanne and a Phoebe . the leather and workmanship are amazing. Variety is always good for the collection, change it up! BTW I've been eyeing the Alexa myself, definitely one on my wish list!

When you could buy a bag for 100$ it was kinda worth it but now to buy the same bag for 1,000 it seems like its a cheeply made bag and we are tring to justify paying so much . See even though the price goes up the quality has never changed . Now, same as before, people want perfection. For some, a k bag is expensive and must be perfect, and for some, a 0 cles must be perfect b/c for them it's really expensive. So, I'm not sure it's about quality being better. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't better back then.
