When I was picking up my keepall luggage tag I witnessed a woman getting her wallet incorrectly heat stamped, and they replaced it right away. I didn't feel bad because the woman . The stamping looks right to me. As for the location of the hot stamp, I prefer it on the back of bags since it’s more discreet. There is no “right” place to do the hot stamp.
